Privacy Policy

BAGADI LLC, which operates BQuick, respects your privacy. This policy explains in plain terms what personal information we collect when you use BQuick, why we collect it, how we protect it, and what rights you have over it.

It covers the BQuick website, the BQuick mobile application, and the communications we send you about your shipments. BuyLow, our Abidjan marketplace, publishes its own privacy policy; the only information the two businesses share is your customer account itself.

• We collect only what we need to receive, ship, and bill your goods.
• We tell you what we collect and why, in language you can read.
• We never sell your personal information.
• We keep information only as long as we have a reason to.
• We protect what we hold with appropriate technical and organisational measures.
• We respect your rights over your information and make them straightforward to exercise.

We collect information in two ways: what you give us, and what is recorded automatically when you use the service.

Information you give us:

• Identity and contact details — your name, phone number, and email address
• Addresses — the delivery and pickup addresses you save
• Shipment information — descriptions, values, categories, and photographs of your goods
• Payment information — proof-of-payment documents you upload and the records of payments you make
• Identity documents — where customs or the law requires us to verify who you are
• Correspondence — the messages you send us and our replies

Information recorded automatically:

• Account activity — the requests you submit and the actions taken on your shipments
• Device and connection data — IP address, browser or app version, and operating system
• Usage data — the pages or screens you open and when
• Security records — sign-in attempts, one-time code verifications, and similar events
• Diagnostic data — error reports generated when something in the application fails

We do not seek out sensitive information such as health data or biometric data. We do not store full card numbers; card payments, where offered, are handled by a payment provider and we retain only the result of the transaction.

We use your information for the following purposes, and no others:

• To receive, handle, consolidate, ship, and deliver your goods
• To purchase goods on your behalf when you ask us to
• To calculate charges, issue bills, and record payments
• To keep you informed about your shipments by email, message, or push notification
• To complete customs declarations and meet legal and regulatory obligations
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access
• To support you when you contact us, and to improve how the service works

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising targeted at you.

Depending on where you live, the law may require us to identify a legal basis for each use of your information. Ours are:

• Performance of our contract with you — everything needed to ship, bill, and deliver your goods
• Compliance with legal obligations — customs declarations, tax records, and lawful requests from authorities
• Our legitimate interests — keeping the service secure, preventing fraud, and improving how it works, weighed against your rights
• Your consent — for anything optional, such as marketing messages, which you can withdraw at any time

We share the minimum necessary with the parties that help us operate the service, each of which is permitted to use it only for that purpose:

• Carriers and customs brokers — the details needed to transport and clear your goods
• Payment providers — to process card and mobile money payments where you use them
• Messaging and email providers — to deliver the notifications you receive
• Our hosting and storage provider — which holds the platform's data on our behalf
• Public authorities — where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim

BuyLow shares your customer account with BQuick, because it is the same login. Your shipping history is not used by BuyLow, and your BuyLow order history is not used by BQuick.

We do not share your phone number or your consent to be messaged with anyone for their own marketing purposes.

BQuick operates between the United States and Côte d'Ivoire, so running the service necessarily means your information crosses borders — including to the United States, where BAGADI LLC is established.

When information moves between countries we take reasonable steps to keep it protected to the standard described in this policy, including contractual commitments with the providers who process it for us.

We keep personal information only for as long as we have a reason to, and the reason determines the period:

• Account details — while your account is open, and for a limited period afterwards
• Shipment and billing records — for as long as accounting, tax, and customs rules require
• Proof-of-payment documents — for as long as needed to evidence the payment and resolve any dispute
• Security and diagnostic records — for a short period, to investigate incidents and faults

When a period ends we delete the information or render it anonymous so that it can no longer be linked to you.

We maintain technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including:

• Encryption of data in transit using current protocols
• Passwords stored only as irreversible hashes, never in readable form
• Access limited to the staff who need it to do their work
• Records of administrative actions taken on your account
• Private storage for uploaded documents, which are never publicly reachable
• Monitoring and logging so unusual activity can be investigated
• Regular backups so information can be restored after a failure

No service can promise perfect security. We keep our measures under review, and we ask you to help by choosing a strong password, keeping one-time codes to yourself, and telling us about anything that looks wrong.

If a security incident affects your personal information, we will investigate it promptly and notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires.

Subject to the law where you live, you may:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and obtain a copy of it
• Have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected
• Ask us to delete information we no longer have a reason to keep
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain uses of your information
• Receive information you gave us in a portable, machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent you have given, and opt out of marketing messages at any time

Much of this is available directly in your account. For anything else, write to privacy@gobquick.com and describe what you want. We will respond within the period the applicable law allows.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, so that nobody else can obtain or delete your information. Some rights are limited where we must keep records for legal reasons — we will always explain if that is the case.

BQuick is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. An account must be held by an adult.

If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact privacy@gobquick.com and we will delete it.

We use only the cookies the platform needs to work — keeping you signed in, remembering your language, and protecting the service against abuse.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow third parties to track you across other websites through BQuick.

Your browser lets you refuse or delete cookies. Blocking the essential ones will prevent you from signing in.

We may update this policy as the service or the law changes. The Effective Date at the top of this page always shows the current version.

If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will draw it to your attention — by a notice in the application, or by contacting you directly where that is appropriate — before it takes effect.
