Shipping Policy
How goods are declared, received, weighed, consolidated, shipped, stored, and handed over.
Effective date: August 6, 2026
1. What This Policy Covers
This policy explains in practical terms how BQuick handles goods from the moment you declare them to the moment they reach you. It is written so you know what to expect at each step.
It forms part of our Terms of Service. Where a detail here adds to the Terms, both apply; where they genuinely conflict, the Terms govern.
2. Your Forwarding Address
We assign you an address to have goods shipped to. Use it exactly as shown, including any suffix or code identifying you — that identifier is how arriving goods are matched to your account.
Declare each incoming package before it arrives, with an accurate description, value, and category. The declaration drives pricing, customs, and the record of what should have arrived.
Goods that arrive without a declaration can still be received, but matching them to you takes longer and holding them may attract storage charges. We may hold undeclared goods until you identify them.
3. Reception and Inspection
On arrival we check the goods against your declaration, record the quantity and condition, and note any visible damage to the packaging.
We photograph goods at reception. The photographs appear in your account and are the record of the condition in which we received them.
If what arrives differs from what you declared — a different item, a different quantity, or a different value — we record what we actually received and bill on that basis. Significant differences are raised with you.
4. Weight and Measurement
Goods are weighed at reception on our scales. That measurement, not the seller's stated weight, is the one used for billing.
Chargeable weight is rounded according to the published rule for the service, which the platform applies consistently to every shipment. The rounded figure appears on your bill next to the measured one, so you can always see how the charge was reached.
Kilograms are the unit throughout — on the scale, in your account, and on your bill. There is no second unit to reconcile against.
5. Consolidation
Consolidation combines several of your packages into a single shipment, which usually costs less than sending them separately.
Packages you have at our facility are grouped for consolidation as they are received, so you can see the shipment taking shape before you commit to it.
A consolidated shipment is closed once its charges are confirmed. Closing fixes its contents and its price; after that, further packages go into your next shipment rather than this one.
6. Transit Times
Any transit time we publish or quote is an estimate based on normal conditions. It runs from despatch, not from the day goods reach our facility.
We do not guarantee a delivery date. Carrier schedules, customs inspection, weather, and public holidays all affect transit, and none is within our control.
Your account shows the current status of a shipment. Where a carrier provides tracking, we pass it on to you.
7. Delivery and Handover
Depending on the service, goods are collected from our location or delivered to the address on the shipment. The available options are shown when the shipment is prepared.
We hand goods to you or to a person you have designated. We may ask for identification before releasing them.
Check your goods at handover. Noting a problem at that moment, while both parties are present, is by far the strongest evidence for any later claim.
8. Storage
Goods may rest at our facility for a reasonable free period while a shipment is assembled. The applicable period is shown in your account.
An active forwarding address carries a weekly fee while it remains active. Goods left beyond the free storage period may attract additional storage charges, which are shown to you before they accrue.
Goods left uncollected long after we have notified you may be treated as abandoned, as described in our Terms of Service.
9. Loss and Damage
Report damage or a shortfall within 7 days of delivery. If goods do not arrive at all, report it within 30 days of the expected delivery date.
Keep the packaging and the goods as they arrived, and send us photographs. Our reception photographs and weight records are compared against yours to establish where the problem occurred.
Valid claims are settled up to the limits set out in our Terms of Service. We will tell you the outcome and our reasoning, whatever the result.
10. Items We Cannot Ship
The list of prohibited and restricted items is set out in our Terms of Service and applies in full to everything we handle.
Individual carriers apply their own restrictions in addition. An item that is lawful may still be refused by the carrier for a given route, and we will tell you if that happens.
